Position Overview
MME Group - A Seaway Plastics Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our clients by accurately processing orders, providing timely communication, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires attention to detail, effective problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, ensuring that all orders and requests are handled with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, email, or mail within 24 hours. Communicate customer needs and requests to colleagues and management, proactively identifying potential issues. Process customer requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order modifications, adjustments, and cancellations for both domestic and international clients, OEMs, and distributors. Utilize the ERP system to access customer information, stock status, and purchase order details while ensuring accuracy in data entry. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner. Monitor active orders and communicate updates regarding scheduling, partial shipments, and credit modifications. Review and correct transactions, maintain accurate records, and oversee customer portals as required. Contact customers to obtain missing order details and confirm documentation accuracy. Apply sound judgment when addressing customer concerns and coordinating with internal teams. Utilize Microsoft Office tools to maintain organized and efficient workflows while adhering to established office procedures. Qualifications
Valid authorization to work in the United States. High school diploma or GED required; completion of two years of college or trade school preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage customer interactions professionally. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and video conferencing tools. Prior experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred). Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines. Experience with medical devices, manufacturing processes, or product life cycles preferred.
