Hello, Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior ETL Developer

to support the

Data Asset Services . The role focuses on the

development and maintenance of ETL applications

using

Ab Initio

and

Teradata , working under the direction of Data Technology Services Managers. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using

Ab Initio GDE Implement data pipelines and workflows integrating with

Teradata Utilize Teradata tools such as

BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPump , and

FastExport Develop and execute complex

ANSI SQL

queries and optimize SQL performance Write and maintain

Linux/Unix shell scripts

for automation and ETL job control Support and troubleshoot data integration processes and error logs Participate in impact analysis, performance tuning, and production support Collaborate with data modeling and BI teams to align data solutions with business needs Required Skills and Experience: ETL and Data Warehousing: 5+ years of experience with

Ab Initio

(GDE, Metadata Hub, TRMC, PDL scripting) Strong hands-on experience with

Teradata

(SQL and utilities) Proficiency in

Teradata SQL Assistant

(QueryMan) Operating Systems & Scripting: Strong knowledge of

UNIX/Linux Proficient in

Shell scripting Data Modeling & BI: Understanding of

Third Normal Form (3NF)

and

Dimensional Data Modeling Experience working with

OLAP tools

(preferably

MicroStrategy ) Knowledge of

BI metrics ,

dashboard development , and

performance tuning Other Technical Skills: Experience with

Web API development Familiarity with

streaming data technologies

(Kafka, MQSeries, JMS) Exposure to

cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures Preferred Qualifications: Experience with large-scale data environments Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Seniority level
