General Description: Responsible for research, design, development, testing, installation, and modification of operational machinery, electrical control equipment, electrical circuitry, and components. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluate control systems, products, components, and applications. ssess new manufacturing and control technologies, adapting them into specifications as appropriate. Confirm control system functionality, including safety compliance, by designing and executing test procedures. Prepare and review electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control drawings while collaborating with engineering teams to evaluate components, materials, and suppliers. Ensure integrity of process and build data collection. Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, IT, Safety, and Operations to ensure proper design, implementation, and launch of equipment and processes. Maintain equipment functionality by performing periodic audits, troubleshooting breakdowns, requesting supplies, defining preventive maintenance plans, and implementing process improvements. ssist maintenance teams in troubleshooting equipment and train engineering and maintenance technicians on new equipment installations. Maintain project documents using approved methodologies, tools, and templates. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering or equivalent technical training. 2+ years of experience with manufacturing processes and equipment interaction, including internships or educational programs. bility to interact with machinery through HMI or laptop connection. Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical prints and schematics. Experience with vision systems. Expertise in Allen Bradley PLCs, Servo Controllers, HMI products, and software. Familiarity with basic electronics and embedded system programming. Knowledge of Fanuc robots, including recovery and teaching points on a teach pendant. bility to troubleshoot, read, and edit PLC logic and CNC programs.
