PLC Controls Engineer
We are seeking a skilled PLC Controls Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, programming, and supporting custom machinery and systems. Program PLCs for custom machinery and systems, supporting software validation and GMP/GAMP requirements. Assist with IQ/OQ and DQ protocols, and participate in commissioning, debugging, and software modifications at our facilities and customer sites. Create and update technical specifications and documentation. Program control systems for cam, servo, and air-operated stations, with proficiency in Siemens and Rockwell PLCs, HMIs, and servo controls. Develop HMI interfaces and user surfaces, and clarify technical details with customers. Understand and update electrical wiring schematics as needed. Participate in design reviews, installations, and service calls. Provide operational manuals, training for operators and maintenance personnel, and production support when required. Take temporary responsibility for controls engineering within projects when necessary. Experiences and Qualifications
Engineering degree in electronics, electrical, controls technology, or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in automation and control system design, PLC and HMI programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens). Experience with databases (SQL), C++, and LabVIEW is preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical and controls engineering principles, codes, and industry standards such as ISO, OSHA, and cGMP. Experience with VFD/Servo, camera systems is a plus. Excellent communication skills in English, ability to work independently or in teams, and willingness to travel or extend work hours if needed.
