About the Role
As a Maintenance Mechanic at Neenah Foundry Miami Operations, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial machinery and systems used in our production facility. Your expertise will help ensure equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support our team in delivering quality products.
Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machines, tools, and mechanical systems. Troubleshoot issues with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, pumps, and gear systems. Fabricate and install parts as needed using standard shop equipment (welders, grinders, drills, etc.). Inspect equipment regularly and recommend improvements to extend life and efficiency. Assist with installation of new machinery and equipment. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used. Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred. 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. What We Offer
