The Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site support at our Dallas imaging center as well as supporting our imaging and file transfer central environment.
This role requires an experienced IT professional with a proven record of accomplishment to support this fast-paced and high-volume environment. Reporting to the IT Manager for Global DS Service Operations, this individual will be the on-site lead for the Service Operations team. The Systems Engineer will handle the day-to-day operations and support hardware and software, including high-speed scanners, imaging tools, and file transfer management (delivery).
Key Accountabilities
The activities and tasks for the System Engineer, Global DS Service Operations (NA), include:
Daily maintenance activities to ensure all IT operations run smoothly.
Daily support for the local imaging center and central environments.
Proper escalation of issues and off-hour on-call support.
Improving existing standard processes and developing controls to monitor productivity, quality, and SLA adherence based on industry best practices.
On-boarding new DS customers and managing change requests for existing customers.
Ensuring constant system/solution availability to meet project SLAs.
Collaborating with Implementation/DevOps for solution fixes and enhancements.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
Extensive experience with remote control tools, Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016, SQL Database, and Active Directory.
Remote installation of hardware and software products at customer locations.
Deploying/troubleshooting Kofax imaging software and batch class deployment.
Deep understanding of IT functions (Desktop, Server, Network).
Providing on-site technical support for hardware and software.
Program/Project management experience.
Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences, including executives and IT teams.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Strategic planning abilities.
Ability to work under multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Knowledge of network management, switches, routers, and firewalls.
PowerShell scripting experience (desired).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) or over 5 years of IT industry experience.
Nice To Haves
Microsoft Certified Professional or related certification.
A+ and Network+ Certifications.
ITIL v3 foundation and practitioner certifications.
CompTIA Sec+ Certification.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range is $35.00 - $42.00/hr. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation, EAP, and PTO, depending on eligibility.
