As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing your assigned clients tax compliance, tax preparation, financial statements, accounting, payroll, and other related functions. Your role will include the preparation and review of financial statements, performing month-end and quarterly closings, and processing payroll. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines are essential for success in this role. Perform general accounting and bookkeeping functions for assigned clients Prepare and review financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements) Conduct month-end, quarterly and annual closings Assist in the preparation and review of business (Forms 1120S, 1120, 1065) and individual (Form 1040) federal and state tax returns Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts in support of financial statement preparation Perform core accounting tasks, including accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), time billing, payroll (P/R), general ledger (G/L), and tax payments Process payroll using platforms such as ADP, Paychex, and Intuit Manage payroll tax, sales tax, and related compliance for assigned clients Ensure compliance with periodic tax payments, information reporting, and other taxing authority requirements Maintain up-to-date knowledge and application of US GAAP and other relevant accounting standards Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned by management Contribute to strategic and operational firm initiatives Perform additional tasks as assigned from time to time Qualifications 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or a similar environment Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficient in preparing and reviewing financial statements Experience in individual and business tax preparation Solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance (a plus) Proficient with QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) Experience with UltraTax software (preferred but not required) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Collaborative team player willing to support colleagues as needed Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field CPA designation (preferred but not required) We believe in recognizing each team member as a key part of our success.
