What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Independently lead investigations into employee concerns and policy violations - Serve as a consultative partner to HRBPs and leaders on complex disciplinary decisions and performance conversations - Evaluate risk, document findings, and recommend resolutions using a fair and consistent framework - Conduct structured fact-finding processes, interviews, and workplace assessments - Provide ER coaching to people leaders on managing employee conflict and handling difficult conversations
What is Required (Qualifications): - BA/BS degree and 4+ years of experience in employee relations, human resources, conflict resolution, or workplace compliance - Proven experience handling employee relations matters and guiding employees and managers - Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously - Excellent communication skills to explain policies and case outcomes to stakeholders - Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - HR or ER certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) - Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (e.g., tech/startup experience) - Familiarity with employment laws and best practices in employee relations - Previous experience conducting training or coaching managers on workplace policies
