We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the operations of our water park. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all guests while managing a diverse team and driving the park's profitability. The General Manager will play a crucial role in strategic planning, staff management, guest service excellence, and overall park maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of the waterpark, ensuring compliance with safety regulations adhering to OSHA, legal regulations and company policies. Manage all aspects of the park, including Aquatics, Guest services, Maintenance, Park Services, and Food and Beverage operations.

Team Member Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of managers, supervisors, lifeguards, and support team members. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth.

Guest Experience: Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, including programs, events, and promotions. Address Guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage the annual budget, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures. Analyze revenue streams and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Marketing and Sales: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and attract guests. Build partnerships with local businesses and organizations to increase park visibility and attendance.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure the park meets all health and safety standards. Regularly review safety protocols, conduct staff training, and oversee emergency response procedures.

Maintenance Coordination: Work with maintenance teams to ensure all attractions and facilities are in good working order. Schedule routine inspections and repairs to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the entertainment, hospitality, or recreation industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of waterpark operations, safety regulations, and guest service standards.

Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

Proven financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost management.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
