We re seeking a Senior IT Architect to lead conceptual and solution architecture across complex, multi-domain environments. You ll partner with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and the Enterprise Architecture Review Council to design secure, scalable, and business-aligned solutions with a strong emphasis on Cisco networking and NAC.

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 +Months
Key Deliverables

• Develop and present Conceptual and Solution Architectures to senior staff, business stakeholders, and the Enterprise Architecture Review Council.
• Produce architecture artifacts, roadmaps, reference architectures, and decision records.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.
• 8 15 years across multiple IT domains with 5 7 years focused on technology architecture.
• Hands-on Network Access Control (NAC) experience aligned with required years.
• Hands-on Cisco Client experience aligned with required years.
• Hands-on Cisco DNA experience aligned with required years.
• Broad IT background with emphasis on networking technologies.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong foundation in architectural modeling, SOA, enterprise information management, and modern software design/development practices.
• Served as Solution Architect on 2+ large-scale, heterogeneous enterprise programs.
• Proven track record designing solutions that solve concrete business problems.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing SOA and services in enterprise settings.
• Transportation industry experience.
• Working knowledge of EA frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF).
