The City of Bluefield is seeking a city treasurer to manage the Finance and Utility Billing Departments. This position oversees payroll, receivables/payables, pensions, cash flow, and investments; prepares budgets, reports, and audits; and ensures compliance with state, federal, and municipal regulations. The treasurer provides financial analysis, recommends policies, supervises staff, and reports on the city's financial affairs to the city manager and board of directors. Qualifications: bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration required 8+ years related experience; CPA preferred. Strong management, communication, and organizational skills.
