Position: Human Resources Manager
Location: Torrance, CA
Status: Full-time, Exempt
Salary Range: $75-100k/year

A growing Japanese retail company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support its expansion.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee HR operations across multiple stores and corporate departments
• Lead recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and benefits management
• Align HR strategies with business goals and store openings
• Ensure compliance with California and federal labor laws
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven culture
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of HR management experience (team of 10+ staff)
• Experience in retail and mid- to large-sized organizations (100+ employees)
• Strong knowledge of California labor laws
• Native-level English fluency
• Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems
  

Preferred

• Retail HR management experience in California
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification
• Multilingual (Spanish or Japanese)
