Our client is a fast-growing mechanical contractor delivering top-tier HVAC and plumbing solutions based out of Wilmington, NC with new offices in Raleigh & Myrtle Beach. We're looking for a hands-on, strategic CFO to join our leadership team and help drive strategic sgrowth, profitability, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do:
- Lead all financial operations: budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and reporting
- Partner with the CEO and ops team on business strategy and project performance
- Manage banking, bonding, risk, and compliance
- Build out systems and processes to support scalable growth
- Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team
- 10+ years in finance leadership, preferably in construction or mechanical contracting
- Deep knowledge of construction accounting (WIP, % complete, etc.)
- Experience with ERP/construction software (e.g., Viewpoint, Sage, Procore)
- CPA or MBA is a plus
- High-impact executive role
