Pay Information $1,897 per week About The Position Job Title: Travel RN - PCU - Cardiac Surg Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license Certifications: ACLS Certification Must-Have: Candidates must have PCU experience and cardiac experience. Candidates must be proficient in administering drips such as heparin, tikosin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitro, Lasix, and ketamine. Description: Looking for a motivated and skilled travel RN to join our PCU team. This is a fast-paced and challenging cardiac unit known for excellence in patient care. The unit has a focus on high acuity patients. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4. Staff includes RNs and Patient Care Technicians. Day and night shifts are available with a total of 20 beds in the unit. The equipment commonly used includes tele, transport monitors, suction, feeding pumps, trachs, bipap, cpap, heated high flow, chest tubes, foleys, and IV pumps. Typical procedures performed include chest tube placement, removal of chest tubes, removal of pacer wires, and 12 lead EKGs.
