Pay Information $2,103 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Neuro ICU experience Comprehensive assessment skills Care of hemodynamically unstable patients Care of mechanically ventilated patients Thorough neurological assessment skills Description: This position is located in a Neuro Critical Care environment. The role requires caring for patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, post-operative craniotomy cases, seizures, encephalopathy, and neurological tumors. The unit consists of 30 beds, with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3. Equipment utilized includes Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, EV 1000, and Neuroptics Pupillometer. The electronic medical record system in use is Epic. Floating to other inpatient areas may be required during low census periods. Successful candidates should be team players with a positive attitude, flexibility, and empathy.
