Pay Information $2,218 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surge/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted with 2 years RN experience License: Compact RN License or valid state RN License Certifications: AHA BLS, CPR Must-Have: - Experience with stroke and COVID patients - Epic charting experience Description: Position: RN Med Surge/Telemetry Shifts: 3 nights per week Patient Ratios: 1:5 days, 1:6 nights Weekend Requirement: 7 weekend shifts per contract Floating Required: Yes, within like units Daily Census: Approximately 34 patients Total Staffed Beds: 30 Unit provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, social services, and rapid response teams. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. Experience required in the management of dysrhythmias and non-invasive airway management. Knowledge of isolation precautions is also necessary. Travelers must comply with unit needs. Candidates must be willing to float to meet facility needs. Previous charge experience is beneficial.
