Pay Information $2,143 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Acute Med/Surg Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of two years of experience floating to Med/Surg, ICU, and ER units. License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required through AHA or RQI system during clinical orientation. Must-Have: BSN and critical care experience. Description: Candidate must be able to work through the holiday season. Must be cross-trained for multiple units including Med/Surg, ICU, and ER. Must be comfortable floating to various units. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required. Computer literacy is necessary. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with a professional and healing environment. Must have knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan. Ability to assess data reflective of patient status and interpret appropriate information. Must provide care needed by pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups. Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association is recommended within two years of hire. TNCC certification is also recommended within two years of hire. Basic coronary care certification required within six months of hire. Crisis Prevention Intervention certification required within 90 days of hire.
