Pay Information $1,871 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 12 hours (13:00 - 01:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Must have a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS required Must-Have: General Emergency Department experience; high acuity; Stroke and STEMI Certified Description: Minimum experience required is 2 years. First-time travelers are not accepted. The patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics. The setting is a busy Emergency Department with high acuity. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4. The department averages 165-175 patients per day. Experience with Epic and Pyxis systems is required. Scrub color is navy blue. Requested time off is limited to a maximum of 7 days. Weekend work is expected every other weekend. Floating between departments is rare. The nurse is expected to work major holidays as specified. A full compliance check is required to start on time. If not compliant by the deadline, there will be a two-week push-back due to the orientation schedule. Candidates will be clinically screened to determine fit. References are highly preferred at the time of submission, specifically from supervisory positions. Candidates must be available to submit core items and schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract. Return travelers must complete one successful assignment outside of the specified organization before rebooking. Modules are non-billable and will be completed during orientation.
