**Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team at a renowned Level 1 Trauma Center. This position is ideal for a skilled RN with a passion for emergency medicine who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency room setting.
- Conduct thorough assessments and administer appropriate treatments as per protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on the latest emergency care practices.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in an Emergency Room setting, with at least 2 years in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (NJ-RN) License.
- Current certifications in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification is required.
- Must have received COVID-19 vaccinations and one booster, along with a flu shot.
**Orientation:**
- Comprehensive 2-day classroom orientation with no on-unit orientation.
**Schedule:**
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
- Contract length: 89 weeks.
