HR Operations Manager Role:
  • Manage deployment and administration of operational processes for HR programs and projects.
  • Partner with stakeholders for consultation, process design, and project leadership in HR initiatives such as compensation, benefits, performance management, and training.
  • Design and implement tools to enhance HR operations, including onboarding, recruitment, terminations, and retirements.
  • Oversee employee data management ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance.
  • Manage reports and regulatory filings for compliance.
  • Lead selection and management of external HR vendors and outsourcing contracts.
  • Ensure projects are completed within scope and budget.
  • Develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and systems aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws across U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions.
  • Oversee expatriate and immigration processes.
  • Monitor HR service delivery metrics to support satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Manage total rewards programs including compensation, job classification, bonuses, and benefits.
  • Oversee HRIS system data accuracy and consistency.
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics for strategic decisions.
  • Lead HR projects and change initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR policies and employee relations.
  • Manage OSHA compliance and Workers Compensation programs as safety officer.
Background Profile:
  • Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred.
  • HR certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of operational HR experience required.
  • Experience with a Canadian workforce is a plus.
  • Background in supporting manufacturing workforce is an asset.
  • Proven ability to develop HR policies and systems.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of HR functions, industry practices, and employment laws.
  • Strategic mindset with process improvement focus.
