Position Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Branch Manager to lead our Orlando location. This individual will oversee daily operations, drive sales performance, manage and develop staff, and ensure our customers receive the highest level of service. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the building materials industry and a proven track record of managing successful teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all branch operations, including sales, logistics, inventory, safety, and customer service
- Coach, mentor, and develop a team including inside sales, yard/warehouse personnel, drivers, and support staff
- Drive revenue growth through proactive customer engagement, relationship-building, and local market strategy
- Monitor P&L performance, manage budgets, and identify opportunities to improve profitability
- Ensure branch compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Collaborate with regional leadership and corporate teams on strategic initiatives
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and partners
- 5+ years of experience in branch operations, preferably in the building materials, construction supply, or LBM industry
- 2+ years of leadership or management experience
- Strong understanding of local construction markets, customer segments, and product lines (lumber, trusses, siding, roofing, etc.)
- Proven ability to manage budgets, P&L statements, and drive financial results
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management tools preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
