Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Trust Officer at Heritage Trust Company of New Mexico, located in Albuquerque or Santa Fe, NM, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Trust Officer will be responsible for managing client relationships, providing estate and financial planning advice, executing fiduciary duties, and overseeing trust services. The role involves collaborating with clients and their legal, financial, and tax advisors to develop and maintain tailored financial plans.

Qualifications

• Skills in Estate Planning and Financial Planning
• Experience with Fiduciary responsibilities and duties
• Strong Finance and Trust Services background
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Law degree a plus
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CFP, CTFA) are beneficial
• Understanding of New Mexico fiduciary regulations is a plus
