$65.00/hr - $70.00/hr

About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with our client, a rapidly growing and well-established organization, to hire a Senior Manager, Benefits. This role will be instrumental in leading benefits strategy, administration, and employee engagement initiatives for a large and diverse workforce.

Job Description:

The Senior Manager, Benefits is responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and administration of health, welfare, and wellness programs. This position will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive process improvements while enhancing the employee benefits experience. The role involves leadership, cross-departmental collaboration, and vendor management to ensure programs are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate benefits strategies, including health, welfare, and wellness programs.
  • Oversee benefits compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting (ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, etc.).
  • Lead the annual open enrollment process, including communication planning and project management.
  • Build and maintain vendor and broker relationships to ensure high-quality service.
  • Monitor market trends and recommend enhancements to maintain competitive benefit offerings.
  • Oversee plan renewals, cost modeling, and design recommendations in collaboration with leadership.
  • Manage benefits administration, including eligibility, billing, and claims resolution.
  • Deliver benefits education campaigns to increase employee engagement.
  • Supervise and develop a team, fostering a collaborative, employee-first culture.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in benefits administration.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, managing at least two direct reports.
  • Experience working in mid-to-large-sized organizations (2,000+ employees preferred).
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and executive presence.
  • Proven ability to partner with leadership, managers, and HR teams.
  • Solutions-driven mindset with a proactive, employee-first approach.
  • Preferred: Retirement plan experience, Total Rewards background, Dayforce or Business Solver knowledge, and change management expertise.
