No unit secretary. Type of equipment: IV pumps, telemetry, Sequential Compression Devices, Continuous Pulse Oximetry Machines, Feeding Pumps, Patient-Controlled Analgesia, EKG machines, Bladder scanner, iMobile communication technology. Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with a weekend commitment of 4 weekend shifts minimum. Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float; go by rotation when multiple contract labor staff are scheduled. Patient Experience requirements: Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and family members. Utilize bedside shift report. Ability to make personal connections with patients and include them and family members in their plan of care. Certifications: Comprehensive Stroke, ACS Verified Level 1 Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center, and Burn Center. Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs, tops and bottoms.
