Job DescriptionPlant Manager - Vitamin E, Decatur, ILThis is an exempt level position The plant manager will be responsible for daily oversight as well as long term vision of operational strategies associated with safety, quality assurance, environmental compliance, production, yield, cost management, capital disciplines and colleague development. This facility has a workforce compromised of about 50 hourly and 15 salaried employees. Job Responsibilities : Display a commitment, lead, participate and support ongoing safety engagementDevelop, Coach and Motivate colleagues through Diversity and Inclusion, Leadership Capabilities, A2E and PEBuild a culture of collaboration, trust and early escalation of issues and concernsEffectively collaborate with COE's: EHS, quality/food safety, performance management, utilities, maintenance, technology, CAPEX, human resources and process optimization.Direct the operation of the plant which includes safety and environmental compliance, manufacturing quality products, production, cost optimization, yield and sustainabilityOversee performance development for all salaried colleagues at the facilityMaintaining positive community relationshipJob Qualifications: The ability to implement change when necessaryExcellent communication skills to provide guidance and feedbackResults driven to provide support to achieve the goals established by the divisionExperience in Performance Excellence is preferredDemonstrated track record of continuous improvement/ReadinessThe ability to provide motivation to the direct reports and demonstrate leadership qualities to all plant personnelUse PE and A2E to drive improvement and collaborationBA/BS in engineering or related study is preferred - MBA is a plus5+ year's production management experienceRelocation assistance is available with this position.Relocation assistance is available with this position.ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
