Job Description

The client is seeking an Infra QA Test Manager with proven experience and accountability for quality related to infrastructure projects and changes, such as patching, upgrades, integrations, and emergency fixes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in infrastructure test coordination related to End User Computing Infra Changes and Projects, including skills in Windows, VPN, VDI, VMware, Exchange/Outlook, O365, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing technical expertise within the infrastructure field to deliver quality projects in-house and onshore.
• Understanding basics of Networking WAN/VWAN and TCP/IP.
• Experience with VPN/Azure VPN and MFA.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, or Mac OS.
• Patching/updating Windows/Linux/Mac OS, analyzing impacts, and planning deployments.
• Understanding of Cloud technology/infrastructure.
• Defining test approach and executing change requests.
• Test coordination and mentoring Digital/End User Computing teams.
• Building and maintaining quality standards, ensuring application teams deliver quality testing for infra changes using automated test assets.
• Performing root cause analysis for continuous improvement and stability.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve goals.
• Understanding infra changes and coordinating with testing and support teams.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Supporting application and change teams during infrastructure changes and issue resolution.

Required Knowledge

• Experience in the test lifecycle for infrastructure changes, including planning, scenario building, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Knowledge of patching, upgrades, and deployment processes across environments.
• Familiarity with virtualization (Citrix VDI), VPN, Azure Cloud, MFA, Windows upgrades, Patching, O365, and network concepts.
• Understanding of ITIL Service Management tools like HP, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Azure and Jira.

Personal Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications in infrastructure and testing.
• Ability to mentor, build stakeholder relationships, and prioritize tasks under pressure.
• Strong troubleshooting, conflict management, and communication skills.
• Flexible, proactive, assertive, and quick-thinking.
