This position is ideal for a professional who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans for a diverse patient population, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver patient care with a focus on safety and quality.- Monitor and assess patient conditions and responses to treatment.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient outcomes.- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the EHR system (Meditech).- Float to other Med/Surg units as needed based on patient care demands. Required Qualifications: - Current RN license to practice in New Mexico.- 1+ years of Med/Surg nursing experience.- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, HWC.- Demonstrated experience with orthopedic care and EKG monitoring. Unit Information: - Number of Beds: 199 - Patient Ratios: 1:6 - Trauma Level: IV Additional Information: - Weekend hours required: Every other weekend/as needed. - Call requirements: As needed. - Dress Code: Scrubs (color: any; no casual wear permitted).
