Pay Information $1,971 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years in Medical-Surgical nursing License: Nursing degree from an accredited school Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience Description: Located in a southeastern region, serving a diverse community. Offers a variety of services including emergency care, family medicine, orthopedics, internal medicine, pediatrics, and urgent care. Functions as a teaching hospital with a focus on patient education. Surrounded by beautiful recreational landscapes. Features numerous public parks and golf courses. Located in a prominent wine country region. Easily accessible and well-connected to major cities. Unit Profile: The medical-surgical unit comprises 30 medical and 18 surgical beds. Patient ratios are 1:5 during day shifts and 1:6 during night shifts. Utilizes an electronic health record system for efficient documentation. A collaborative team environment is emphasized. Patient population primarily involves adult and geriatric patients; pediatric care is not provided. Team-oriented approach is essential for success in this role.
