Pay Information $2,219 per week About The Position Job Title: Labor and Delivery RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Obstetrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience License: Current State License Certifications: Fetal monitoring, ACLS, BLS, NRP Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience in OR circulation and mother/baby care. Triage experience is preferred but not required. Description: Candidates must be able to start within 7 to 10 days of offer acceptance. This facility serves a diverse community and features 111 beds. Services include Emergency Department, Family Medicine, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Urgent Care. The facility is a teaching hospital known for its comprehensive healthcare services. The nurse will work in a Birth Center with a total of 20 beds dedicated to labor and delivery and mother/baby care. The patient volume is approximately 110 deliveries per month. Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines. The electronic health record systems in use are Centricity and Paragon. Flexibility and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role. The dress code requires scrubs in blue and blue/green colors.
