Pay Information $1,989 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experience in interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of dysrhythmias Preferred: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience Description: This position is for a night shift registered nurse in the Med/Surg/Telemetry specialty. The contract is available for 13 weeks with the option to extend. There is a requirement to work during the week between Christmas and New Year. The candidate must work 2 of the 3 main holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Experience with patient care in a fast-paced environment is important. The nurse will be responsible for the care of patients, focusing on complex needs including tracheostomy care and wound care management. The position requires a strong understanding of dysrhythmias and the ability to manage them effectively. Floating to other units may be required based on patient census. All candidates must have experience with electronic medical record systems, specifically with the EPIC system. Modules and pre-assignment testing are required before starting the position.
