The shift is 3 nights a week, 12 hours per shift. Candidates are expected to work every other weekend. The daily patient ratio is typically 1:4. The unit accepts patients of all diagnoses. Nurses are responsible for a high volume of patient throughput. There is a requirement to float and cover different patient types. Candidates must be able to manage ventilated patients and tracheostomies. All applicants must have the relevant skills and experience as outlined. Professional and collaborative skills are essential.
