The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring the overall safety and well-being of patients in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with established protocols and best practices. - Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and respond promptly to changes. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system. - Participate in patient education and support to enhance recovery and wellness. - Flexibility to float to other units as needed and take on charge duties when required. Required Experience: - Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical/surgical or telemetry nursing. - 2 years of relevant work experience required for non-U.S. candidates. Preferred Experience: - 2 years of recent experience in acute medical/surgical or telemetry nursing. License and Certifications: - Active NY RN license required. - NIH and AHA BLS certifications. Contract Details: - Duration: 13 weeks - Guaranteed hours: 91 - Must be willing to adjust to the facility's scheduling needs.
