You will be an integral part of a dedicated team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and support. Responsibilities: - Delivering direct patient care and monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and patient conditions. - Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. - Administering medications and treatments as prescribed. - Educating patients and families about health management and disease prevention. - Floating to other units as needed based on facility requirements. - Option to work in a charge nurse capacity with training provided. Required Experience: - Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing. - For non-U.S. candidates, 2 years of work experience in the U.S. is required. Preferred Experience: - 2 years of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing settings. Required Licenses and Certifications: - Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license. - NIH Stroke Certification. - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Charting System: - Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred.
