Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years of Endoscopy experience in an acute care setting required License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required, BSN highly desired Must-Have: Must live 50 miles away 2 years of Endo experience in an acute care setting required Travel experience preferred Cerner experience required 3 years plus of Endoscopy experience is required Description: Fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret it in terms of the patient’s needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients. Makes initial assessments and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by documentation.
