Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Location: Des Moines, IA 50309 Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 09/08/2025 - End: 12/09/2025) Shift: 12-hour day shifts Hours per Week: 36 Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend Call Requirement: None Float Requirement: Willingness to float to all units at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Iowa Lutheran Hospital, and Methodist West Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact RN license accepted with proof of residency) Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Previous successful travel RN assignment required Experience with Epic EMR system required BLS certification (additional certifications may be required per hospital policy) Ability to adapt to multiple hospital settings and float as needed L&D Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit Monitor, assess, and document patient status throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages using Epic EMR Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process Float to other hospital units as required to meet staffing needs Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Des Moines, Iowa!
