Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Location: West Des Moines, IA 50266 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1990 - $2130 Unit: Mother/Baby (Labor & Delivery) Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48) Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: September 8, 2025 Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend Call Requirement: None Floating: Required to float to all floors at listed facilities L&D RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Compact RN license accepted with proof of residency Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Previous successful travel nursing assignment required Proficiency with Epic EMR system Ability to float to multiple hospital units and facilities as needed Registered Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in the Mother/Baby (L&D) unit Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Accurately document patient care in Epic EMR Float to other hospital units and facilities as assigned Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse in West Des Moines, Iowa, and make a difference in maternal and newborn care!
