Quality Control Inspector II
to join their
Quality Assurance Department
based out of
Senoia, GA
on a
12-hour rotating night shift schedule
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring product quality during production by conducting inspections, performing tests, and communicating results to manufacturing and quality personnel. This position directly supports Winpak’s commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality packaging solutions that meet customer and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Work safely, adhere to, and promote Winpak safety policies • Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished goods for compliance with established quality specifications • Perform product testing, record results, and communicate outcomes to Operations and Quality personnel • Support manufacturing, shipping/receiving, and other departments with QC testing and required documentation • Analyze data against specifications, accept/reject results, and initiate documentation for nonconforming materials as required • Prioritize work by testing critical production items and rotating across manufacturing lines during shifts • Conduct mechanical and physical property testing using designated equipment • Perform document reviews on work instructions or procedures to support ISO 9001 compliance • Communicate quality issues promptly to management and request corrective action when necessary • Conduct minimal calibration of test equipment and follow calibration system procedures Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a QC Inspector, Quality Technician, or in a lab setting • Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures for quality testing • Basic written and verbal communication skills, along with strong computer skills (MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and quality databases) • Ability to lift and transport lab samples up to 40 lbs Preferred Qualifications:
Technical education or degree in a related field • Experience in plastics or packaging manufacturing environments • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems, Six Sigma, SPC methods, or TQM • Previous training or certification in quality tools, quality systems auditing, or laboratory testing • Familiarity with quality testing equipment and procedures Additional Details:
This position follows a
12-hour rotating night shift schedule • 100% onsite role in a manufacturing and laboratory environment • Exposure to warehouse areas for product inspection and sample testing as needed
Compensation Range: $23-$24
