A law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its Worcester, Massachusetts office. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of courtroom experience. Location: Worcester, MA Duties: Represent clients in insurance defense cases, including automobile liability, construction liability, general liability, premises liability, and products liability. Draft motions, legal memoranda, and high-level correspondence. Conduct legal research and analysis on complex litigation issues. Draft and respond to discovery requests. Prepare for and conduct depositions. Attend court hearings and manage litigation procedures. Collaborate with colleagues on case strategies and client communications. Maintain strong client relationships and provide updates on case progress. Requirements: Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar. 3 to 5 years of civil litigation experience in Massachusetts state and federal courts. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar. Skills: Strong litigation and courtroom experience. Expertise in drafting legal documents, including motions, discovery, and memoranda. Excellent research and persuasive writing skills. Ability to conduct depositions and prepare for trials. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and client management skills. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
