The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank whose mission is Financing Infrastructure for Tomorrow in Asia and beyond—infrastructure with sustainability at its core. The Human Resources Department (HRD) is responsible for the development and implementation of AIIB’s human resource strategies, policies, and programs to attract, hire, develop and retain talents. HRD also provides advisory on Human Resources and Corporate Culture matters, ensuring alignment of policies and initiatives with AIIB’s mission, vision, corporate culture, corporate strategy and business goals, particularly in key areas such as staffing, performance and career management, learning and development, compensation and benefits. The HRD strives to be a high performing business enabler, acting as a trusted partner to deliver strategic, proactive and client-oriented solutions. The HRD is composed of the Centers of Excellence (COEs) and the HR Business Partners (HRBPs). The COEs house specialized HR experts providing a focused approach and best industry practices towards key thematic areas, while HRBPs are the primary HR contact for business units for their day-to-day HR related queries. The Planning & Policy Team under the COEs is looking for a Senior HR Officer/HR Officer-People Analytics to drive data-informed HR strategies, projects, activities and services by analyzing workforce data, generating actionable insights, and supporting decision-making across the different HR functions. Responsibilities: I. Strategic Partnerships and Stakeholder Support Serve as focal point for HR process digitization collaborating closely with other units (IT Department, Strategy, Policy and Budget Departments, etc.) and cross-functional HR teams to identify and resolve process inefficiencies and report challenges; Develop and enhance HR systems, designing tailored analytics solutions to ensure operational excellence on HR programs, activities and service delivery. Deliver regular capacity-building initiatives to HR teams and business stakeholders, facilitating enhanced access to, and utilization of advanced data analytics, systems, and tools to support their different needs. II. HR Analytics Framework and System Integration Develop and implement a comprehensive HR data analytics framework, ensuring seamless integration across diverse data sources to enhance data accessibility, accuracy, and usability for all HR functions. Conduct HR analytics and research, interpret HR metrics and data into write-up of analysis, on topics such as recruitment, retention, training and development, compensation and benefits, performance management, etc. III. Reporting, Insights, and Data-Driven Decision Support Design, maintain, and optimize Human Resources KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools, ensuring alignment with organizational and specific business needs. Leverage key performance indicators and advanced data insights to drive informed business decision-making, support strategic HR initiatives, and guide policy reviews. Continuously explore emerging trends, tools, and techniques in people analytics to innovate and enhance HR decision-making. IV. Perform other assignments and projects as determined by the supervisors. Requirements: Minimum 8-10 years (for Senior HR Officer) or 5-7 years (for HR Officer) of relevant professional experience in HR analytics, HR Information Systems (HRIS) Management and/or digitalization experience preferably gained in international organizations or financial service sectors. Proficiency in data analytics tools and platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, R, Python, etc. and knowledge of SAP platform is preferred. Strong analytical and research skills and ability to translate data into articulated insights and solutions to support HR management in decision-making. Overall understanding of key common HR concepts and practices such as strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion in handling sensitive HR information. Experience of working in a multi-national environment with a dispersed workforce. Excellent interpersonal skills. Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and attend to details while staying focused on key priorities. Strong service mindset and client orientated skills with demonstrated creative problem-solving ability. Globally recognized Certification preferably in the field of HR (CIPD, HRCI, SHRM, etc.) and/or People Analytics is an added advantage. Familiarity with international data privacy regulations (GDPR, etc.) is a plus. Master’s degree or above in Human Resources, Statistics, or business /Data analytics and other related fields from a reputable university. AIIB is committed to diversity, transparency and inclusion.
