The Technician II - Automation Operator's primary responsibility is to operate and maintain various types of machines used in the production process. The role is crucial in ensuring that machines function efficiently and safely to meet production targets while maintaining product quality. The Operator will work closely with production supervisors, technicians, and other team members to ensure a smooth production workflow. Operate and control machines according to established procedures and guidelines Monitor production output to ensure products meet quality standards Conduct routine maintenance on machines Report any malfunctions or breakdowns promptly Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery. Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors Keep track of production schedules and targets. Report production progress and any issues affecting production efficiency to supervisors Identify and troubleshoot machine-related problems during production, making necessary adjustments or minor repairs to minimize downtime Maintain accurate records of machine operations, production output, and any maintenance performed Communicate daily with production supervisors, quality control professionals, and maintenance staff Job Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar manufacturing environment is beneficial Familiarity with machine operation and basic maintenance tasks Basic understanding of production processes and quality control principles Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve minor technical issues Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends or overtime, as required Must be and remain compliant with any and all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Company Overview
