Located in the heart of the Coachella Valley, you have access to resort-style living and world-class amenities throughout Southern California. Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations. Acts as a liaison between assigned departments, clinical end users and I.S. technical personnel. Assists in the coordination and maintenance of all current systems for assigned departments. Supports the departments and staff during, and post-implementation, of assigned applications/systems. Provides support for providers and end users during and after clinical system upgrades. Analyzes current systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement in patient care, provider productivity, financial outcomes, and cost savings. Assists in planning for and developing department-specific requirements for future product acquisitions. Performs project status reporting as requested. Communicates with IS staff, vendors, and users to identify system needs, modifications, and issues, working towards resolutions. Analyzes user-requested programming changes, documents requests, and facilitates communication between users and IS staff. Works with vendors on system changes, reviews, and acceptance, and facilitates communication between IS and vendors. Provides technical support to expert users. Follows PMO guidelines on all projects. Ensures proper documentation of procedures and processes. Troubleshoots issues and documents for vendor resolution. Updates service requests monthly and communicates updates to requestors. Ensures email and voicemail indicate unavailability with alternative contact when out of office. Supports management with administrative tasks as needed and performs other duties as assigned. Requires experience in an acute healthcare setting or vendor setting. Previous systems analyst or vendor experience is a plus. Ability to teach/train staff effectively. Maintains positive relations with peers, users, and vendors. Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience with assigned applications is desirable; Epic Certification is a plus. Working knowledge of healthcare applications.
