Supports the core functions of EMC business applications to enable cost-effective, high-quality, efficient, and safe patient care. This position will implement, administer, and support assigned business systems under the guidance of senior team members. It requires a thorough understanding of assigned applications, ancillary systems, and health system operations. The role involves addressing issues and making design decisions of moderate to high complexity, as well as clear communication and documentation of complex concepts related to applications, interfaces, data structures, and workflows across the organization. Coordination with other IT teams, including System Administrators, DBAs, Networking, Reporting, and Help Desk, is essential. The position also involves implementing changes following documented, policy-compliant procedures, and providing solutions for work orders, trouble tickets, and projects for assigned departments.

Education:
Required: Relevant degree or experience in lieu of degree
Preferred: Bachelors Degree
Licensure/Certification:
Required: Relevant Epic certification(s) for positions supporting Epic applications; certification must be completed within 12 months of hire or transfer.
Experience:
At least two (2) years in healthcare or information systems-related roles.
Demonstrates compliance with the Code of Conduct and policies, resolving compliance questions and reporting suspected violations.
Acts as a liaison between departments, clinical end users, and IT technical staff.
Supports current systems and assists during and after implementation.
Provides support during clinical system upgrades.
Analyzes systems and processes for improvements in patient care, productivity, financial outcomes, and cost savings.
Assists in planning for future product acquisitions based on departmental requirements.
Provides regular project status reports.
Facilitates communication among IS staff, vendors, and users to identify needs and resolve issues.
Documents user requests and system changes, working with vendors as needed.
Offers technical support to advanced users.
Follows PMO guidelines for all projects.
Ensures proper documentation of procedures and processes.
Troubleshoots issues and documents for vendor resolution.
Updates service requests monthly and communicates status to requestors.
Indicates unavailability via email and voicemail, providing alternative contacts when out of office.
Supports management with administrative tasks as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Working knowledge of healthcare applications and excellent communication skills.
Maintains positive relations with peers, users, and vendors.
Experience in acute healthcare or vendor settings preferred.
Previous systems analyst or vendor experience is a plus.
Experience with assigned applications desirable; Epic certification if applicable.
