Staff Writing Support Perform writing tasks in support of division leadership by preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining technical documents. This contractor shall generate ideas for various content while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. This includes: Must have a secret clearance and valid driver’s license Responsibilities include: Review and finalize correspondence/documents prepared by others in accordance with Navy and NIWC Pacific guidelines. Plan, develop, organize, write, and edit operational procedures and manuals. Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation. Analyze documents to ensure continuity of style and content. Manage updates and revisions to technical literature. Support teams on special technical writing projects/tasks. Prepare, edit, and review Human Resource (HR) packages. Support writing tasks for strategic initiatives, division planning documents, and process improvement plans. Develop and manage documentation and tracking of team/division accomplishments, highlights, and presentations. Draft/write all-hands emails and messages for release, technical communication articles, and messages and press releases for leadership's strategic communication goals. Review, proofread, revise, and edit documents for content accuracy, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and format, ensuring clarity. Format tables and figures within documents for conformity and consistency. Develop, update, and maintain division hub websites. Develop, edit, and revise forms, procedures, process guides, and training plans. Maintain configuration control of documents. Coordinate reviews with stakeholders for comments and resolutions. Resolve document and language inconsistencies. Lead stakeholders and reviewers from draft to completion. Ensure documents conform to standards, policies, and procedures. Manage assignments from receipt to completion, providing status updates. General Administrative Support Provide administrative support to various divisions, becoming proficient with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Defense Information Security System (DISS), Total Workforce Management Services (TWMS), and Defense Travel System (DTS). Responsibilities include: Prepare and develop correspondence, reports, memorandums, and presentations. Monitor and track correspondence to ensure deadlines are met. Distribute correspondence according to guidelines. Plan, coordinate, and organize events. Support and arrange meetings, including agenda development and minute-taking. Maintain daily schedules and support logistics. Interface with government and contractors to facilitate activities. Assist with inventory management and shipping/receiving processes. Prepare ordering paperwork and maintain office supplies. Disseminate visit requests via DISS. Monitor personnel information through TWMS. Take meeting notes and distribute them. Serve intermittently in the Division Office when needed.
