As a forward-thinking leader, you will oversee all facets of accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This is a pivotal role where you will develop and implement strategic financial policies to ensure accuracy in financial data, adherence to regulatory standards, and comprehensive financial reporting. In this position, you will be responsible for spearheading the treasury function, crafting and managing the annual cash forecast, and ensuring financial stewardship in a privately held family-run business environment. Key responsibilities include collaboration with the CFO, managing a sizable accounting team, and fostering productive relationships with external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, complemented by a CPA certification (an MBA is a plus). A minimum of 15 years in progressive accounting roles, with a focus on leadership and team development, is essential. Candidates should exhibit profound knowledge of treasury functions, have experience in Board-level communications, and demonstrate proficiency in financial and analytical tools. Experience in the manufacturing and consumer packaged goods sectors is highly regarded, along with a solid understanding of finance law, regulatory standards, and tax compliance.
