Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Schedule: Full-Time, 36 hrs/week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | On-call required

Job Summary: Provide direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, postpartum, and to newborns. Ensure safe, compassionate, and skilled maternal-infant care.

Responsibilities:

Assess and monitor laboring patients

Prepare for and assist with deliveries (vaginal/C-section)

Administer IV meds and monitor mother and baby post-delivery

Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care

Ensure documentation, infection control, and OB policy compliance

Requirements:

Active RN license (Colorado)

CPR required; NRP & ACLS within 1 year

Prefer 4+ years OB experience

Strong communication and critical care skills

Environment: Fast-paced OB unit with physical demands; exposure to fluids and infection risks. May rotate areas based on need.
