ABOUT THE JOB
The Production Supervisor – Liquid Products is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the liquid production line to ensure product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety and company standards. This role provides direction, coaching, and support to frontline employees, resolves equipment and process issues, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of leadership, operational knowledge, and customer-first mindset to support GSF’s commitment to excellence.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Supervise the daily activities of production staff, providing clear instructions and regular feedback to ensure quality and productivity standards are met or exceeded. (55%) Identify and resolve equipment and process-related issues using internal resources (e.g., Maintenance, QA) to maintain high levels of operational performance. (25%) Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and product quality, including planning for future equipment or operational changes. (10%) Foster communication with team members to promote smooth operations, ensure policy understanding, and maintain compliance with GSF production standards. (10%) Perform other related and assigned duties as necessary. LEADERSHIP / MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY
Directly supervises up to 50 hourly employees on the production floor. Responsible for ensuring productivity, safety, quality, and employee engagement within the department. PERFORMANCE CATEGORIES

Education/Certification:
Associate degree in Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited vocational, technical, or junior college Experience:
5–7 years of relevant experience in a food manufacturing environment, including supervisory or team leadership responsibilities Knowledge (Level):
Food safety concepts and procedures –
Journey Budgeting concepts –
Basic Engineering fundamentals (related to manufacturing operations) –
Basic Quality assurance procedures –
Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) –
Basic Skills & Abilities:
