Job Description Job Title: Travel Nurse
Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Med-surg Adult, Med-surg Peds, Emergency Room Nurse, Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU)
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour shifts, flexible to float to nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Hours per Shift: 36 guaranteed hours
Experience: Minimum of 3 years, including Emergency, Medical-Surgical/Pediatrics, and Intensive Critical Care
License: Valid nursing license in the appropriate state
Certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, Moderate Conscious Sedation (may be obtained through the facility)
Must-Have: Flexibility to float to other departments and willingness to take patient load if experienced and competent
Description:
This position involves providing nursing care in various specialties including Med-surg Adult, Med-surg Peds, Emergency Room, and Intensive Care/Coronary care.
Nurses will report daily to the House Supervisor for assignment to a specific unit.
Flexibility in shift work and the ability to adapt to weekends and holidays is required.
Experience must include all three relevant specialties: Emergency, Medical-Surgical/Pediatrics, and Intensive Critical Care.
Travelers may be expected to float to other departments based on qualifications.
Responsibilities may include taking a patient load in new settings or performing task-oriented duties.
Additional information regarding housing can be provided.
Holiday coverage is required.
