Job Description
Operates and programs advanced metrology equipment such as CMMs, vision systems, and other precision measurement tools. Performs detailed dimensional inspections on complex components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications. Interprets GD&T and applies it to inspection and measurement processes. Supports engineering and quality teams with measurement data, analysis, and troubleshooting. Maintains calibration of inspection equipment and ensures adherence to quality standards. Provides guidance and training to junior technicians, serving as a subject matter expert in metrology practices. The Successful Applicant
Strong experience with precision measurement tools and CMM programming/operation. Solid understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings. Background in dimensional inspection within a manufacturing or aerospace/defense environment. Familiarity with calibration practices and maintaining metrology equipment. Ability to work independently while also mentoring or training less experienced technicians. What's on Offer
