Production Engineer nnGloucesternnUp to £47,000 per annum + BenefitsnnPermanent PositionnnOverview:nnWe are recruiting a Production Engineer to support the fabrication and assembly of mechanical equipment. This hands-on role bridges engineering and manufacturing by managing BOMs, drawing control, and MRP systems to ensure efficient production workflows.nnKey Responsibilities:nnProduce and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for mechanical assemblies.nnManage drawing submissions, issue controls, and revision updates to workshop.nnInterface with engineering and production to coordinate material flow and fabrication readiness.nnMaintain and update the MRP system with material status, shortages, and order tracking.nnSupport the workshop with up-to-date documentation, kits of parts, and assembly aids.nnMonitor production progress and resolve technical queries with engineering teams.nnAssist in quality documentation, traceability, and final inspection readiness.nnExperience and Skills Required:nnExperience in a production, manufacturing, or fabrication engineering role.nnExperience working with mechanical / special purpose equipment.nnStrong knowledge of fabrication drawings, assembly layouts, and workshop practices.nnExperience using MRP or ERP systems.nnExcellent coordination skills with engineering, purchasing, and workshop teams.nnCertifications/Technical Knowledge:nnUnderstanding of mechanical fabrication, MEP standards.nnFamiliarity with manufacturing safety procedures and site readiness.nnFor more information, contact Rory McStay
