About the Opportunity:
A leading multifamily developer is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee a 150-unit, ground-up multifamily project in Nevada. This is a high-profile, multi-phase project requiring strong leadership, coordination, and field execution skills from start to finish.
You’ll be the boots-on-the-ground leader responsible for managing all aspects of field operations, schedules, site safety, quality control, and subcontractor coordination. This is a critical position for a candidate who thrives in fast-paced, large-scale residential construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all on-site construction activities for a large, multi-phase 500-unit multifamily project
- Develop, maintain, and manage construction schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager
- Coordinate all trades and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met
- Enforce site safety policies and ensure OSHA compliance at all times
- Ensure high standards of quality control and craftsmanship across all trades
- Serve as the main field liaison between project management, ownership, and subcontractors
- Conduct daily job site meetings, inspections, and progress tracking
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly and effectively
- Manage and mentor Assistant Superintendents and field staff
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of construction experience with at least 5 years as a Lead or Senior Superintendent
- Proven experience delivering ground-up multifamily projects (100+ units)
- Strong understanding of wood-frame, podium, wrap, and/or garden-style construction
- Expertise in managing large-scale schedules, subcontractor coordination, and site logistics
- Deep knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, etc.)
- OSHA 30 Certification required
